IXThe Hermit
Major Arcana · IX
The Hermit tarot card meaning
- solitude
- reflection
- inner light
Upright
Alone on a mountain with a lantern, the Hermit looks inward and lights only the next few steps. It’s the card of stepping back from the noise to find your own answer.
Reversed
Reversed, solitude has turned into isolation, or you’re avoiding the quiet because of what you might find there.
If you pulled it today
You need some time alone with this, on purpose. Take a walk without headphones, or an evening without plans. You don’t need to see the whole path, just the next step in the lantern light.
